Learning and Education:

• Ongoing improvement of microbiology course curriculum

• Increase the opportunity integrating the microbiology principle to problem in infection disease

• Offer opportunity for student of placement in relevant professional activity

Scientific Research: 

• Demonstrate the basic research skills in microbiology and infectious diseases 

• Learn the principles on how to critically appraise microbiology research 

Social responsibility:

• Advocate health promotion and disease prevention (e.g. immunization awareness campaign in Rabigh)

Academic and administrative development:

• Integrate microbiology in medical practice

• Practice evidence-based health care

Partnerships in national and international cooperation: 

• Teamwork and inter-professional collaboration

• Training and teaching assessment workshop for the faculty (It will be part of the faculty initiative)
